Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Clinotech Diagnostics & Pharmaceuticals Inc, Canada and the Rivers State Government of Nigeria was signed on January 24, 2008.   The Certificate of Incorporation for the Public – Private – Partnership (PPP) called Clinoriv Specialist Hospitals & Leisure Ltd was established on January 30, 2008.   The Shareholders' Agreement of the PPP was signed on March 15, 2008.   The Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Site of the Hospital (Former Site of University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH at Hospital Road, Port Harcourt) was commissioned on May 11, 2008 by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Rivers state of Nigeria, Rt. Hon.
